Wholly Centered

In this episode of Wifey Wednesdays, Emily invites listeners into a thoughtful and grace-filled conversation about what it means to be wholly centered on Jesus in the midst of busy, demanding lives. Inspired by a January theme of renewal and spiritual reset, this episode explores practical rhythms that help wives reorient their hearts, schedules, and priorities around Christ—no matter the season of life. From motherhood and homeschooling to work schedules and everyday chaos, Emily reminds us that full lives aren’t bad lives—but they do require intentional centering. Rather than trying to “fit Jesus in,” we’re challenged to place Him at the center and let everything else fall into place around Him.

When should a person be re-baptized?

Many people have questions about re-baptism. When should this be done? What if a person grows in their knowledge and understanding from when they were initially baptized? We should keep in mind that we will always be growing, but this doesn't mean that the power of Jesus' blood that saved us initially has weakened or changed (Acts 4:12; 1 John 3:20). Verses Referenced: Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:38, 22:16, Colossians 2:11-13; Galatians 3:27; 1 Peter 3:21; Acts 19:1-6; 1 John 3:20, 1 John 5:13; 1 Thessalonians 5:9; John 3:16-17; 2 Peter 3:18; Acts 4:12

The Blame of Calvary

The cross confronts us not only with God’s love, but with human guilt. It’s easy to talk about the beauty of the cross. It’s harder to face its blame. In this episode of Today With Jesus, we consider a sobering truth: while Scripture records the roles played by Jewish leaders and Roman authorities, it refuses to let us push responsibility safely outward. The Bible presses the question closer to home.Who is truly to blame for Calvary? The cross exposes the depth of human sin and the uncomfortable reality that Jesus did not merely die because of others—He died for us. Our guilt stands in the shadow of the cross, even as God’s grace shines through it.
